Boughen Nurseries Valley River Ltd. - Quality Trees, Shrubs and Perennial Flowers

Lilacs

The advantage of late flowering lilacs in this climate is that the late Spring frosts do not destroy the blossoms. Villosa, Japanese and Preston lilacs are especially desirable on this account. ALL THESE
NON SUCKERING lilacs make good tall screens. These all make excellent windbreaks and windscreens, branching to the ground, very thick, and do not lose their branches like willows do.
