Explorer Roses
New, hardy shrub roses originated by Felicitas Svejda from Ottawa Research Station. These roses are being grown in our nursery and have received much admiration from all who have seen them in bloom.
Champlain Rose
(Dr. Felicitas Svejda) From Ottawa’s Explorer’s series of roses. Out-standing among the hardy shrub roses because it flowers freely all summer and fall. Flowers are slightly fragrant – dark red petals and base-med. red, foliage is abundant and lustrous green. Plant is slightly dwarf growing about 2 feet tall in our nursery. Exceptional flowering ability. Flowers till freeze up.
